Our Church Building Project officially went vertical on Friday September 8, 2023, the feast of the Nativity (Birthday of the Virgin Mary) of the Theotokos. The steel workers have made a lot of progress since then! Below are pictures of the work that has been done so far, as of 9/26/23.
The playground has been delivered and installed. The back parking lot in being poured this week as well. Soon the parish house at 5600 Vance Jackson will be ready for a few more renovations and then our move into that property.
We took our first draw advance on our construction loan. We now have interest payments to make until the draw period ends and we roll the loan payments into a mortgage. Fundraising for the building fund is crucial at this phase of the project!
